You Don’t Have to Be a Goddess to Run Women’s Circles — Just Be You

I’ve built my whole career around being awkward and anxious 😜

And you know what? When you let your true self shine, you end up calling in the best kinds of people — the other wonderful weirdos, the gentle humans, the ones who love you for exactly who you are.

There’s this idea floating around that women’s circle facilitators have to be calm, centred, perfectly embodied, sage-burning goddesses in linen. But I’m here to tell you — that’s not the only way to hold space.

In fact, it’s not the way at all.

You can be awkward. You can have an neurodivergent brain. You can live with anxiety. You can speak too fast, forget the words, get sweaty palms.

And you can still hold incredible women’s circles.

You do not have to fit the “embodied goddess” stereotype to guide meaningful, beautiful spaces.

Because we need all kinds of people running all kinds of circles.

We need the anxious squirrels, the messy gremlins, the sensitive souls, the neurodivergent visionaries, the wonderful weirdos — and all the in-betweeners.

There’s so much room for your kind of magic.
There’s room for your voice.
There’s room for your circles.

This is one of the core messages inside my facilitator training, Together. You don’t need to become someone else to hold space — you just need to become more of yourself.

The world needs your circles.
Let’s build them in a way that feels true to you.
