Dear Perfectionists, You’re going to make mistakes as a circle facilitator

Let’s get something straight before you run your first (or next) women’s circle:

😬 You will accidentally call someone by the wrong name.

😬 You will stumble over your words.

😬 You will create rituals that don’t land the way you imagined they would.

😬 You will question if you handled a situation the right way.

😬 You will stuff up a date in an email reminder.

😬 You will have circles that sell out with ease and others that feel like you’re dragging them uphill.

And honestly? It’s all part of it.

Mistakes, flops, and failures are guaranteed to happen when you hold space for other humans. That’s the gig.

🔥 Should I tell you about the time one of my attendees’ dresses caught on fire? (She was okay — but oh my goddess)

Perfectionism Will Either Get Chipped Away… Or Stop You Completely

The thing is — your perfectionist brain will either slowly soften as you keep showing up, making mistakes, learning, adjusting, and witnessing the magic that happens anyway

Or it will stop you before you even begin.

And that would be a real loss.

For you.

And for the women who need the medicine of your circles.

Because here’s the truth: circles don’t need to be perfect to be powerful.

They just need to happen.

Don’t Let Perfectionism Rob You (Or Your Community)

If you’ve been sitting on the dream of starting your own women’s circles because you’re scared of not doing it “right,” I want you to hear this:

Done imperfectly is better than not done at all.

Your circle is needed.

Your voice is needed.

Your leadership — messy bits and all — is needed.
